They will face Luxembourg, Poland and Slovak Republic in Group A and have revealed a 24-strong preliminary candidate list which will be whittled down to 15 names ahead of a training camp to be held during early May in Kranjska Gora.
Eva Lisec meanwhile is one of the most exciting prospects around, with the teenager having posted a very impressive tournament double-double at the U18 European Championship Women last year in Croatia.
The team will play a total of six preparation games, with two on home soil against Portugal, followed by Belgium and Montenegro.
They will then complete their schedule with successive games against Finland, prior to getting their formal qualification programme underway.
