|Portugal outlasted Estonia for their second win in the qualifiers|
Portugal picked it up a notch in overtime to beat Estonia 65-60 in Carcavelos-Lisboa on Wednesday and climb above their Group C opponents in the EuroBasket Women 2015 2nd Qualification Round.
Neither team could qualify for next summer's tournament but you wouldn't have known that from the way they went at each other in a game that was tied seven times and the lead changed hands on nine occasions.
Sofia Da Silva was the star for Portugal, scoring 25 points and pulling down 16 rebounds, including some important plays in overtime.
She had missed a free throw to give her team the lead with 11 seconds left in regulation - but made up for it as she was instrumental in Portugal's decisive 6-0 run to begin the added period.
Merike Anderson paced Estonia with 16 points but, despite her team leading for most of the game, the visitors couldn't get over the line and finished bottom of Group C.
