|Dominika Baburova top-scored for Slovakia with 13 points|
Slovakia chalked up another big win in Group A of the EuroBasket Women 2015 2nd Qualification Round after making light work of safely despatching Luxembourg with a 70-42 victory.
Following up their comprehensive success against Slovenia, Maros Kovacik and his team were always on top and had little difficulty in riding to another triumph despite still being without the recently naturalised Kristi Toliver.
Central to their success was the team doing a good job of sharing the scoring load, with Dominika Baburova finishing top of the pile with 13 points, while veteran Anna Jurcenkova did the dirty work by hauling down nine rebounds.
Slovakia stormed into a 23-10 lead after the opening ten minutes and never had cause to look back from that point onwards as Luxembourg struggled to find the firepower needed to challenge their visitors.
Their tally of six points in the third quarter highlighted their problems and was a clear indicator of why despite not having the greatest shooting night, Slovakia were able to canter home to the win.
Cathy Schmit and Lynn Schreiner combined for 25 points for Luxembourg.
